- A little about me and JHP:
for years I was an amateur photog, and always had a camera around. when i bought my first dslr camera i was constantly wanting new subjects, gear, and challenges. photography was the only thing that i could do all day, and never wanted to stop. I started a photography business mostly so i could support my expensive hobby. i am extremely fortunate to have my passion turn into a full-time career and rapidly growing business.
i am self-taught. i read, watch, research, study, and practice photography in all of my free time. in my past life i was a sales executive working in the corporate world. when the day came that i realized my passion for photography could support my lifestyle i immediately jumped feet first into it full-time. i finally have my dream job, and am solely focused on growing that dream.
Our goal is to have fun and make great photos.
The relationships we build with our customers and the time we take to understand what our customers are looking for are the two most important aspects of making great photos.
Jason Hales Photography consists of Jason and a team of second shooters, lighting assistants and interns. Each shoot is different and therefore the team required is tailored to fit the needs of the client.
In 2011, we grew our business with wedding photography. By midnight of Dec 31, 2011 we will have completed shooting 24 weddings within the year. Our goal is to cap that number at 30 weddings for 2012, and we are already at a great start. This year we also focused on growing our business through commercial photography, modeling photography and art photography as well as our own creative work.
